Chilton Collection
James Chilton was a tailor from Kent with ten children, but only his wife and daughter Mary accompanied him on the Mayflower. James signed the Mayflower Compact, but both he and his wife perished in the general sickness that first winter. Mary married John Winslow and bore ten children. Her sister Isabel arrived later and married Roger Chandler.
