The Standish Collection

This collection honors Myles Standish, who is perhaps the most famous for the unsuccessful courtship (by proxy) of Priscilla Mullins. Standish was the only Mayflower passenger with military experience, and the man who kept the fledgling Colony safe. He also served as the colony's treasurer and as an assistant to the governor.
